What is Virtual Badge?
Thanks to an agreement with Disaster Solutions, LLC, we’ll be able to offer ClearStar clients the world’s first patented smartphone ID badging system. Expected to launch by the end of 2018, Virtual Badge offers an app-based workplace solution to traditional employer ID cards. And for the first time ever, facial recognition-based background screening will be integrated with a mobile access badge.
How will Virtual Badge work?
Virtual Badge offers a chance to skip the limited capabilities of an old-school ID. With Virtual Badge, employers can manage their workforce through their smartphone thanks to a variety of features. Through QR codes or GPS access and backed by ClearStar’s suite of mobile screening solutions, Virtual Badge helps employers with quickly verifying and badging their workers as well as with additional activities such as tracking time-on-site, material/supply deliveries, visitor passes and temporary IDs; and issuing task alerts, company messages, and more.
These remote verification IDs bring opportunities for high tech advancement to a broad chunk of industries— construction, healthcare, engineering, and many more. It also holds great potential for businesses relying on contractors or temporary workers, for example.
