Connecticut is a drug testing friendly state, though its law places restrictions on random testing and requires reasonable suspicion for all other types of testing. As well, there is an unemployment compensation law in Connecticut that contains its own drug testing requirements. Employers are not required to comply unless they wish to deny unemployment compensation claims.
