Sustainability Policy

1. Policy Objective

The objective of this Policy is to encourage all ClearStar, Inc. (“Company”) employees and contractors to conduct business in a manner that will reduce our environmental impact. We intend to follow the letter and the spirit of environmental laws and regulations. We strive to set a good example to our customers and contractors on responsible use of resources and minimization of waste.

2. Audience

This policy applies to the Company and its affiliated entities. The Company reserves the right to change, modify, add or remove portions of this policy at any time. Failure to comply with this policy could result in consequences including, but not limited to, termination of employment.

3. Definitions

3.1     Environmental Impact

The potential negative effects of operations on the physical environment.

4. Resource Management

We will reduce our environmental impact by reduction of waste, responsible energy management, telecommuting options, and the efficient use of physical resources.

5. Compliance with Laws and Regulations

We will comply with local, national, and international environmental regulations, policies, and guidelines. We intend to request the same from our vendors.

6. Staff Education

We will engage Company staff in environmental education and awareness of effective resource management through training, best practices, and physical resources such as recycling opportunities and volunteer events.

7. Audit and Enforcement

The Internal Audit Committee shall perform periodic audits of the compliance of this Policy. Failure to comply with this Policy could result in disciplinary action, including termination of employment.
