Our team now spends far less time chasing authorizations or managing ETAs, which allowed us to take full ownership of the Adverse Action process. Their fast turnaround times, often just a day or two, help us address any issues quickly and reduce company risk.

We chose ClearStar over our previous provider because of their technology, their integration with our onboarding system, the ease of applicant authorizations via text or email, and their willingness to adapt the system to suit our needs. Our team used to spend significant time chasing completed authorizations, manually initiating backgrounds, and sorting results or ETAs. Now we primarily monitor the process, as authorizations are collected at the time of hire at a much higher rate and ETAs are available directly in the system. The time saved has allowed my team to take over the Adverse Action process, giving HR full ownership of the background check workflow. Another major benefit has been ClearStar’s turnaround time. We often start employees while the background check is in process, and ClearStar typically completes checks in just a day or two. This allows us to address any adverse information quickly and reduce company risk.
