ClearStar’s ClearID/ClearContact Solution Named Top HR Product of 2017 by Human Resource Executive® Magazine

ClearStar, a leading provider of background check technology and services, is proud to announce that ClearID, its on-the-spot ID validation and face-match technology, and ClearContact, an industry-first electronic qualified labor address book, together have been named a 2017 Top HR Product by Human Resource Executive® Magazine. Selected by the editors of the magazine, supported by a panel of industry experts and analysts, the award recognizes the newest HR products based on their level of innovation, value added to the HR function, intuitiveness for the user, and ability to deliver what they promise. The ClearID/ClearContact solution is one of 10 products to receive the award out of the large pool of entries.

Using ClearID, employers can quickly verify the identity of a laborer by taking a photo of their face and their government-issued photo ID. ClearID then validates the ID and matches the candidate to it, returning actionable results in an average of under 5 minutes. ClearContact, a first in the background screening industry, is a one-stop shop for employers to organize their casual labor workforce, schedule them for work, and track the progress and results of any ClearID screen as well as any additional background screening services requested.

“Cultivating the right labor for the job means having the ability to screen candidates quickly, in the field,” said Robert J. Vale, Jr., CEO, ClearStar. “Our ClearID/ClearContact solution is being implemented in many industries to verify and manage a contract labor workforce from the convenience of a mobile device. We are pleased that the editors of Human Resource Executive recognize the value of this solution, and thank them for their support.”

“Human Resource Executive has been evaluating HR products and conducting this competition for 29 years,” explained David Shadovitz, editor of Human Resource Executive. “Our goal has always been to identify products and services that clearly offer value to the HR community while demonstrating innovation. ClearID/ClearContact exemplifies those qualities, and stands out as a unique background screening solution.”
