Solution further reduces touchpoints in the background check process for recruiters through interoperability with SAP SuccessFactors solutions ClearStar, a technology and service provider to the background check industry, today announced that its ClearStar Background Check solution is among the first to achieve “touchless” automated integration with the SAP® SuccessFactors® Recruiting solution. The SAP SuccessFactors HCM Suite serves more than 6,400 customers in 193 countries. This new integration option further automates and streamlines the SAP background check process by automatically initiating the background check when a candidate reaches a particular stage in the hiring process. “Our product integration with SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting is designed to simplify the sometimes-tedious process of background screening prospective employees, and we are proud to be among the first to offer an integration option that takes even more of the burden off the recruiter,” said Robert J. Vale, Jr., CEO, ClearStar. “This is another demonstration of how ClearStar is at the forefront in developing and introducing market-leading innovations.” ClearStar’s automated integration utilizes both the SAP SuccessFactors integration center and intelligent services. Using this solution, recruiters can designate a status at which the background check will auto-initiate. ClearStar’s mobile-friendly ScreenMeNow application will then guide the candidate through the application process, allowing them to provide additional data and perform actions such as selecting a convenient location for a drug or clinical test with ClearMD and providing e-signature consent. Recruiters also benefit from real-time profile status updates, which are available in SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting, including the final background check report, when complete.
