Mike Pritts

Chief Executive Officer

An accomplished executive and strategic advisor to organizations positioning for accelerated growth, Mike Pritts is an effective change agent and executive leader working in a diversity of environments for Fortune 100, mid-sized, and start-up companies. Mike most recently led Surescripts’ Product Innovation function as Chief Product Officer where the team successfully delivered innovative solutions solving healthcare’s most challenging issues. Their work digitizing provider workflows across the medication management lifecycle and the exchange of clinical histories on a national scale is one of healthcare’s signature success stories. Prior to Surescripts, Mike was a highly placed executive in leading high-tech companies such as Misys Healthcare Systems and LexisNexis, where he managed global development and services teams. He also served in executive roles with privately held technology firms where he led leadership teams from established and entrepreneurial businesses to out-innovate their competition, including President of one of the most innovative perinatal companies in the world. By focusing on both product evolution and product reinvention, Mike collaborated with CEOs and their Boards of Directors on a substantive level and revamped sales and operations, developed strategic partnerships with Fortune 100 companies, and recruited top management talent into the organizations. Mike is a high-performing executive who has led critical corporate initiatives, created cross-functional teams recognized for their excellence, and engineered simple yet competitive products that reinvigorated product lines while delighting customers. Complementing his focus on optimizing organizational performance, Mike’s true passion lies in developing and inspiring talent, fostering cultures of creativity, and integrating globally dispersed operating divisions into confident, high-performance teams. Mike brings exceptional interpersonal and execution skills, business acumen, strong decision-making, and dynamic, intuitive leadership along with over 35 years of experience. He holds a BS in Computer Science from the University of Pittsburgh, is an outdoor enthusiast, and spends his free time with family.

Pam Dunsky

Chief Operating Officer (COO)

Pam Dunsky joined ClearStar as our Chief Operating Officer (COO) in February 2024 to oversee Client Service and Operations. Pam brings extensive experience to ClearStar, having led across multiple industries and executive roles. Her expertise spans service, operations, technology, and product, but her unique talent is how she utilizes these skills to create experiences that customers love. Her positive energy and disciplined approach to life make her a force ClearStar and its customers will notice. Her passion for delighting customers, building and leading great teams, and focusing on results makes her a perfect fit for ClearStar as we evolve our service delivery. Before joining ClearStar, Pam was most recently a managing partner for TATA Consultancy Services, an IT consulting and business solutions organization, where she led global teams in product innovation, digital services, and client delivery. She has also held CTO and COO positions at large organizations and served as CEO of a startup. We are confident that her wisdom and leadership skills will greatly benefit our company. Pam holds a bachelor’s degree in computer science from the University of Dayton. She has undergone extensive training in Six Sigma, TQM (Total Quality Management), and leadership development programs at esteemed institutions such as the Center for Creative Leadership and the University of Michigan.

Todd Shoulberg

President, Medical Information Services

Todd Shoulberg provides direction and leadership to the daily operations of ClearStar’s Medical Review Office. He is responsible for keeping all drug testing clients in compliance with state, federal, and local regulations, and identifies new testing methods and products for clients to utilize in their drug testing programs.

Before joining ClearStar, Todd served as Vice President of Florida Drug Screening, Inc., where he oversaw operations of the Medical Review Office, including Sales, Marketing, and Customer Service.

Dave Morgan

Chief Financial Officer

In October 2022, ClearStar named Dave Morgan as Chief Financial Officer to lead all aspects of finance and accounting for the company. Morgan brings more than 30 years of diverse finance experience to ClearStar. He has a demonstrated track record of building high-performing finance teams as well as driving growth in revenues, earnings, and cash generation while improving business controls and efficiencies. As CFO, he will oversee all aspects of ClearStar’s financial operations and reporting, cash management, forecasting, and controls. In addition, he will assume responsibility for systems integrations, operational planning, and profit improvement initiatives.

Most recently, Morgan served as CFO of Cendyn, a global leader in SaaS technology for the hospitality industry. Prior to Cendyn, his career spans three decades of financial leadership roles in publicly-held and private-equity owned companies. Dave is a nine-time CFO working across the consulting, telecommunications, software, and SaaS technology industries and has led successful exits at three companies. Morgan is a magna cum laude graduate of the University of Georgia where he earned his BBA in Accounting and is a former Big 5 public accounting firm auditor.

Nicolas Dufour

EVP and General Counsel, Corporate Secretary

Nicolas Dufour advises ClearStar’s management team on all legal matters, issues, and risks impacting the organization. He provides legal guidance, legal management, and operating standards related to business; state and federal laws; regulatory; and legal strategic matters. Nicolas has more than twenty-five years of legal practice experience and fifteen years of experience in the background check industry.

Before joining ClearStar, he was Chief Regulatory Counsel at First Advantage Corporation, where he oversaw litigation matters and regulatory enforcement investigations related to privacy and data security issues.

Melissa Meredith

Chief People Officer

Melissa Meredith joined ClearStar as Chief People Officer in April 2024. Melissa brings thought leadership to both business and talent strategy. Highly engaged and leading with creative methods to enable growth and high performance are hallmarks of her approach. Early in her career, Melissa held People leadership roles in F500 companies where she helped teams improve their performance and streamlined People Operations to enable efficiency and a better experience. She then transitioned into the world of startups, where she partnered with Private Equity, Venture Capital, Founders and CEOs to build, grow, and scale technology companies. Developing roadmaps to get companies from one stage of growth to another while at the same time ensuring overall organizational health became her specialty. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Miami University, double majoring in Organizational Behavior and Employment Relations.

Brad Carlson

Chief Customer Officer

Brad is responsible for building and growing relationships with ClearStar’s customers as well as leading upselling and cross-selling activities to leverage the Company’s full product and service offering. Brad has extensive knowledge within the background screening industry serving as Vice President of Sales for four national background screening companies, including his role as EVP of Sales at General Information Services, where he led the sales efforts for all segments of the team for 6 years. Brad has over 30 years of active sales management, 19 of which were within the background screening industry. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science and Government from the University of South Dakota.

Lydia Wray

Vice President of Product

Lydia is responsible for the overall direction, development and delivery of technology products used in supporting background screening and drug testing, including system-to-system integrations. With 20+ years of experience in the background screening industry, in various capacities, Lydia has gained deep knowledge of the technology and has an innate understanding of the end-user's experience and needs. Lydia holds a Master's in Business Administration.
